Description
This lion is the older of the “Southern Males”. He and his brother control a large territory on the western boundary of the Greater Kruger National Park. He has a beautifully blond mane with a dark black base and a dark central mohawk. The transformation between a sleeping lion in the day and fierce warrior at night is something to behold. He sat as gently as a housecat waiting for sunset. After dusk, he marched off into the darkness, scent marking and roaring for all those far and wide to know, the king is here!
