Description
Nata bird sanctuary in the heart of the Makgadikgadi is normally a harsh and desolate salt flat. After the rains, it becomes an oasis in the desert. The pans flood in water only a few inches deep as far as the eye can see. In the evening, these waters become a mirror that stretches to the horizon blurring the divide between the land and the heavens.
