Play is an essential part of learning and development. While the parents were away from the den on their morning hunt, these puppies were on a hunt of their own. This play is critical for the bonding of a cohesive pack, physical development and coordination and also for the pure joy of it. For the moment, the tree’s bark was worse than their bite but this is an important step in becoming tomorrow’s formidable hunters.
