Description
Very rarely in wildlife photography does the subject, light and environment pan out exactly as one would hope or plan. I was able to hide ahead of these zebras in the grass, anticipating them running when the vehicle passed. The Kalahari powdery dust is so fine it is normally a photographers worst nightmare, finding its way into even the most well protected gear. In this case, the dust created a dream like shot as the morning sun shone through the cloud of dust kicked up by a thundering herd of zebras. A dazzle is certainly an apt collective noun.
